Delicious Saturday night dinner with a party of 3. We shared some appetizers, including the lamb kebabs and the bread basket and both were outstanding. I had the half chicken and the meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was very juicy and delicious. My Strawberry Spritz was ok. It was a nice enough cocktail, but not one that I would rave about. Overall, a fantastic experience and phenomenal food.

Came by for a weeknight dinner after hearing rave reviews for this Greek inspired restaurant at Pike and Rose. We had tried a few weeks ago without a reservation and were turned away so there were visibly open tables. A friend told me this happened to her too, but she promptly stepped out, made a reservation for same time online, walked back in, and was without issue. In any case, we wanted to plan ahead this time and made a reservation online. Noted you need to give a credit card to make a reservation in case of cancellation. The decor was beautiful and relaxed. Excellent lighting through the large windows. The restaurant was actually smaller than we thought, but with a large wall mirror, the space was amplified and did not feel crowded at all. We had a nice weeknight crowd. A few empty tables which eventually filled. My only complaint was our table was uneven, and kept wobbling throughout the meal, which was an annoyance. Now to the food-we were very impressed by the creativity of the dishes. for a table of two, we ordered the grilled half chicken, grilled octopus, and tuna tartare to share. The server told us we should probably order an additional entrée or two additional sides since the octopus and tartare were relatively small dishes, but we were surprisingly stuffed with these three dishes such that we were not able to try the dessert menu. Grilled octopus: two tentacles for $25 is a little steep. However, octopus was grilled to perfection. Puréed fava beans was delicious. The herb emulsion brought surprising flavors to the dish, including mint and dill. Tuna tartare: I liked it, but I thought this was a little too salty. Would have preferred for it to be a little plainer to let the fish shine. My friend who was not a fan of raw fish told me he couldn't tell this was raw due to all the seasonings. This side came with a couple slices of warm sourdough, which were delicious. Grilled half chicken: would have preferred for it to be a bit more charred, but the chicken was very juicy and tender. Flavoring was complex but light. Paired nicely with lettuce and tomato. Also came with a side of fried potato wedge with aïoli, which for me, was actually the star of this dish. Excellent fried potato wedge, very crispy. The nectar of the gods and Greek mountain tea were refreshing with an interesting meld of flavors. Overall delicious meal with surprising flavors in a beautiful space. We enjoyed it. Garage parking available, first two hours free.
